Hey guy I show you today, how to fix a broken charger on ANY console on this planet! You have to open the console and replace the charging port, that's it!

So, by left, you mean from looking at the screen? I have a New 3ds XL that won't turn on and also cannot charge. The charger is fine (the battery maybe, it has continuity but I'm not sure if I was doing that right).

I wonder if the 3ds would take usb charging voltages. It's be nice to use a universal port for charging.

The entire DS and 3DS family can be converted to use Mini, Micro, and USB C if you're patient enough, here's an example of a DS Lite I did with Micro USB. Have been doing this for years and its totally worth it and works just the same; no issues.

Currently working on bringing my 3DS to USB C but its a lot harder since the connections are smaller.

Boi I was tryn repair my sd card slot last year and the damn screws were so damn tight. Ended up selling it and upgraded to a n3ds XL
